Boiling a perfect egg

Here’s what I’ve found. I put eggs in a pot with enough cold water to cover them, more or less, and set the heat to high. Then I set a timer for 25 minutes and go away. The timer goes off, I come back, dunk the eggs in cold water again.

And I have lovely eggs with yellow, not grey, yolk, and it’s not runny neither.

This experiment has been replicated with identical results each time 🙂
